What we offer

Functional Range Assessment

The FRA is a measurement based assessment system that provides objective measures of an individual’s movement capacity for each of their joints. We take into account what this individual does for sport, fitness, and life pursuits so that we can then provide training inputs and recommendations directed at improving the individual’s specific deficits.

Strength

We use the Internal Strength Model by Functional Range Systems to determine what your body needs and how to train it. This method allows you to get stronger & build muscle without beating up your joints- in fact, it will help them feel better than ever. In other words, we combine traditional methods of strength training with joint-specific training so that you get stronger while improving joint health, function, and capacity. We also use Functional Range Assessment to guide your individual training needs and make sure your training is specific to you.

Conditioning

We use a combination of bodyweight exercises and machines to keep workouts interesting! Our programming follows a high/low model because a good conditioning program should focus on both high intensity output and low intensity efficiency. No conditioning program should be all of one and none of the other. We also use heart rate monitoring software to make sure that you are training in the right zone and getting the maximum benefit from your workouts.

Kinstretch

Kinstretch is a joint training and movement enhancement system used to develop flexibility, maximum body control and active range of motion, thereby promoting joint health and longevity. All of the movements and training techniques have been selected based on a rigorous investigation of evidence, conducted by physical conditioning and medical experts, as it pertains to body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity." Nutrition

We are Precision Nutrition certified and take a flexible approach to nutrition. Whether you need help breaking through a stubborn weight loss plateau, or just learning how to improve the nutrient density and quality of your diet, we’re here to provide help and support. We can use detailed tracking methods, if that’s something that works for you or we can go with a more natural approach. We believe that nutrition is personal and are here to help you find a diet that works for you.
